Tim went above and beyond. Referred us to an amazing realtor as well. He will tell you when you’re ready and when you’re not ready to buy a house. If you’re not ready, he will stay and work with you so you are able to afford one even if it takes several months. He works around the clock and will work with your schedule no matter what time of day it is. I couldn’t think of ever asking anyone different for help buying a house.

In 2011, I googled 'VA Mortgage Lender' in Washington State. Tim Barlow popped up top of the list. I called to discuss my VA home loan eligibility for my move back to Washinton State. He picked up my call immediately and we met for lunch when I got to town. From then on, Tim proved to be the best VA Home Loan lender I've ever had. He has closed several loans for me, and I refer all my friends and family to him.

I found out about Tim Barlow because my current loan officer at the time was doing terrible work for us and wouldn’t even help me use my VA benefits. Our realtor Jessica was getting frustrated with that the loan officer was unresponsive and didn’t care much to help us. Thankfully our realtor suggested Tim and his company West Coast Veterans. Tim Barlow is by far the best Veteran centered loan officer in the area. We tried going through 2 other loan companies but were unsuccessful and even Navy Federal told us the fastest they could do was a 60 day closing, but Tim had ours done in 3 weeks. He is aggressive with getting his clients the best rates on the market and even got a buy down for our interest. A matter of fact, our interest rate was so low that the title/escrow company was shocked and said it was the lowest they have seen in a long time. I truly swear by this company and you will too if you go through West Coast Veterans.

If you're trying to purchase during amid this wild market, THIS is team you want behind you. Don't look elsewhere. Seriously. I can not say enough good about Tim and his team (Amber). Many years ago I missed my opportunity at a purchase, but met Tim through the process. He made such an impact on me that when the time was right to purchase again, I knew exactly who to trust. Tim was able to not only find me the best interest rate (even lower than expected), he continually monitored the market to ensure if an opportunity arose, I was able to lock in the lower rate. During my 3 month search, he found me a great rate. Then, as Tim does, he saw an opportunity for improvement, dropping my already great rate an additional .125%. This is the type of work you want when financing large numbers. He wouldn't settle for anything but the best for me. Communication was GREAT. No phone call went unanswered and no email was ignored. Regularly throughout my home search, Tim would call to check on how I was doing. He would offer great advice when it came to putting in offers and he had a great working relationship with my chosen realtor. In fact, Tim has a GREAT reputation with MANY in the industry. The best part (besides the great rate), was opening the door to my new home, key in hand, 24 days from the day my offer was accepted. I was recommended to Tim and his team by a friend after I had first tried using someone else that insisted I pay for a first time home buyer class that I felt was unnecessary based on my situation. On my very first call with Tim I learned so much - he gave me so much info, answered my many many questions, and we ended the call with a game plan.
